During the one-to-one encounter for the capture of a single portrait, the participant close the eyes and listen to the question:
"If ALL your memories were erased but you had the opportunity to choose only ONE memory to hold on
which would you choose?

After the click, the person opens the eyes and transfer the response on a piece of paper.
Here below there is the collection of the first 200 responses. I resist to translate everything in English, respecting the choice of each person to use the language they desire. This means that the content (written in 23 different languages) won't be fully "understood" by one person. But language can communicate also something more than a meaning.

CYANOTYPE BOOK
Process of making a handmade cyanotype book with the collection of the texts. This is another performative object which offers another sensorial experienc, inviting the viewer-reader to see beyond the content of the text, to feel the texture, to read in different ways (from right to left, from left oright, up to down, down to up).
